Jacquelyn Grant, in her classic White Women’s Christ and Black Women’s Jesus rightly states, “Theology as developed in Europe and America is limited when it approaches the majority of human beings.” Much can be learned when we learn to listen to the perspectives and wisdom of those who exist on the margins of our present society. This month, it is our hope that your heart will be renewed and that you will be inspired to participate in following Jesus more deeply alongside those already doing so on the edges.
